Target Audience and Goal Statement
This activity is intended for radiologists, obstetricians/gynecologists, primary care physicians, and radiologic technologists.   

The goal of this activity is for learners to be better able to optimize breast cancer screening using the latest imaging techniques. 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES 
Upon completion of this activity, participants will have: 

Have increased knowledge regarding the 

  • Relationship between breast density and increased risk for breast cancer

  • Appropriate techniques used for supplemental breast cancer screening in women with dense breasts 

Greater confidence in their ability to

  •  Effectively utilize imaging techniques for supplemental screening in women with dense breasts

ACCREDITATION AND CREDIT
This activity has been approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) for 0.50 hours of ARRT Category A continuing education credit.
